layman FoV questions

I love this resource, but I don't quite understand the technical details. I'm best at Apex so I'm converting from Apex, and I'm constantly getting the error:

"target fov set to maximum as target fov is above maximum"

I run a 34" 3440x1440 monitor, so 21:9 aspect ratio (I selected 21:9 stretched). 

Auto FoV: On  Target FoV: 100  FoV Type: Hdeg 4:3 --  I have no clue what FoV type is, but when I change this my sens conversions change. 

Further, the FOV sections in the "Convert to" and "Convert from" change from 100 to 1.428571

 

My questions are.

What is the correct FOV type for me?

What is the correct FOV value for Apex legends at 100 FoV on my monitor?

FOV Type is explained in the instructions, most of your questions should be answered there.

The correct FOV Type for the game you select will automatically be chosen, but you can select another type if you want to convert between them. The config FOV in the output will show you what you need to configure to get the input FOV.

You should only change Aspect Ratio if it's not native. Meaning 4:3 stretched to fit 16:9, 16:9 with black bars on 21:9 etc. If the aspect ratio in the game matches your monitor, leave it at native.
