chickens0up Posted August 4, 2017 Posted August 4, 2017 Greeting, every poor white guy living in capitalism deep water ,i'm a top 500 Asswatch master from china No.1. Here is the thing,I got 103 degrees and 55.88 degrees H/V FOV by using 2560X1080 resolution in Overwatch, meanwhile,H/V FOV in CSGO is 121.28 degrees and 73.74 degrees. As you know, the 21:9 type of Overwatch is cutting the vertical srceen,on the other hand CSGO extending the horizon edge of the image,so it gives u a real big different visual experisence and some confusing about which algorithm should be used to get the same aiming feeling. In fact, those are not the same 2560x1080 resolustion, the ralationship between them is more like 800x600 to 4096X2160. I tried linear formula(monitor distance, viewspeed),it gives me the same crosshair movement per inch indeed,or the same chord length in front of my sight, which i think is pretty sweet for tracking target but not friendly to high speed wide range turning round.Because these two formula result a huge difference degrees per inch both. Proving by the same methods,360 fomula is just the reverse, messed up target following, but same old muscle memory of turning round. So,is the all powerful dpi wizard here to give me a advise, really appreciate it.
