FOV x Resolution Questions

Hi! I hope that this is the right place to ask this kind of question

So, I'm trying to play CSGO and Valorant on -more or less- the same feeling switching between the two.

I do this by, in CS, playing on 1810 x 1080, which makes the FOV in-game roughly the same as Valorant's (~103 degrees).

However, since I play Valorant, Kovaaks, Aim Lab, etc. on 1920 x 1080p, with the FOV locked to 103...

My questions are as follows:

Should I play with CS stretched, or with black bars, to best match the FOV? Or should I switch Kovaaks / Aim Lab / Valorant to 1810 x 1080 black bars? Should I play with them all at 1810 x 1080, stretched? Is there a difference?

I use MDV0 to match my sensitivities between games, if that's relevant to anyone's answers (also, I know that it doesn't really practically matter to aiming skills, but I am very curious about these FOV mechanisms & how they impact things)

Another question comes from the fact that, in Aim Lab or Kovaaks, when I set my FOV to 103 under "Valorant", the FOV feels significantly different than when I set my FOV to 103 with "CSGO". Why would this be?

They use different FOV types, Valorant is based on 16:9 aspect ratio, CSGO is based in 4:3
