TGGE Posted February 25, 2021 Posted February 25, 2021 So I have converted my sens from black ops 2 to modern warfare 3 and all the infomation I have selected below in the screenshot is how I have done it. But the aim feels quicker so I am making sure that I am doing it properly. Sorry to be a pain and thanks for all the help.
Wizard DPI Wizard Posted February 25, 2021 Wizard Posted February 25, 2021 The FOV in MW3 is lower, so it's more zoomed in and will feel faster with the same 360 distance. If you use the same FOV or match the sensitivity using a monitor distance conversion instead it will feel more similar. TGGE 1

I seem to find across alot of the older cods anyway that it does not go as high as the newer cods in term of FOV so I seem to have different FOV for alot of cods depending on their settings for FOV. So which would be the best way to get the same feeling and sens across all the games I play? Thanks for the help and again sorry to be annoying.

Try MDV 0% instead of 360 distance for hipfire. You can test it here, hipfire is BO2, ADS is MW3. Same 360 distance (as you have it now) MDV 0% (same tracking speed)

I am just interested 360 distance is useful because it matches your sensitivity based on how far you turn. So you will always know how far to move your mouse to turn around a corner or look behind you. However it will feel/look visually different when the FOV is different, so some might prefer to match it based on what you see on the monitor instead. So this conversion (MDV 0%) is matching the tracking speed of your crosshair, so if you were to track a moving target the speed you have to move your mouse would be the same.

That is interesting just tried a game out while it felt better it did feel slow still. I don't know why but this always seems to happen. When I try to match my sens from a game to another game the feeling is always to slow or fast and never feels right makes me confused about it honestly.

MDV 0% is basically the slowest method of the normal conversions. You can try MDV 100% or MDH 100% instead to see if they feel better.

Thanks for all the help! will the instructions page tell me every way I can covert my sens like you gave me the option of the monitor distance rather than the 360cm way?
