is there no way to match my apex ads sensitivity to the cod ads sensitivity? since cod changes the fov to a different value than apex?

and if I use 100 fov in cod, and then use 100 fov in apex and set the multiplier to 1, will the ads sens be calculated in the exact same way? apart from the actual ads sens because the ads fovs will be different

Yes, expect for a minor bug in Apex where it uses a rounded FOV value to calculate the sensitivity.

Sorry, I meant cods such as cod 4 or bo1 where its mdv 0%. like would both games calculate the ads sens in the exact same way, ensuring that my fov in both games is set to the same value and my apex ads multiplier is 1.0? (the only difference being that a gun in cod could have a different ads fov to an apex one which would make the sens different.  so for example, say a scope in apex reduced my fov to 70 along with a cod 4 gun which reduced it to 70 as well, the sens would be the exact same right?

Yes, it's basically the same for the other CoDs as well assuming the actual FOV for hipfire is the same.

Do you have any idea on how I can match my apex ADS 1x,2x,3x and 4x sens to be the same as the AK47 ADS sens in cod 4 since i'd prefer it that way?. my cod 4 settings would be:

sens: 1.603696, dpi: 400, fov: 100, original not remastered if that matters. thanks

CoD 4 will already scale ADS to MDV 0%, so all you have to do is match the hipfire FOV and set all zoom sensitivities to 1 in Apex:

I meant that I wanted the 1,2,3, and 4x scopes to have the exact same 360 distance as when aiming down sights with the rifles in cod 4 when your hipfire fov is set to 100 and sens 1.603696. so presumably i'd have to find out the ads fov in cod 4, set my cod4 hipfire fov to that in the converter with my normal sens, and convert to the different zoom values in apex right? do you know how much the fov in cod 4 is reduced when you ads with a rifle?

It's generally the same as in MW 2019, but it depends on what weapon and what aim. I've added the red dot ADS now:

thanks, I've just tried and it doesn't seem to be the same? when I go across my mousepad in ads ak47 red dot in cod 4, it does about 225 degrees. the 1-4 zooms in apex are only  doing 135~ degrees. this is my conversion https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=317a0c47a3152df6c78fa530962987b4

in cod 4 i have 80fov with fovscale set to 1.25 to make it 100

The fovscale might change things, I'll check.

What is your zoom_sensitivity? It actually affect hipfire if you change the FOV, so if it isn't set to 1 that might be the issue.

if you mean zoom_sensitivity_ratio on cod 4 i have it set to 1. my fovmin is also 10 so the fov change when adsing should be correct

Ok, that shouldn't be the issue then

Note that the calculation you linked uses 3 as the Apex hipfire sensitivity, is this what you have set it too?

Not sure what's the issue here, but there's probably something in CoD 4. Maybe you can send me the config file and I can test it directly.

It's better to do like this so you get all values calculated correctly:

https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=397b2ed06baa0ebacbea71e62b616b8e

yeah, 3 matches the cod 4 sensitivity. when i do it like that it calculates the zoom sensitivities as a multiplier of the resulting apex hipfire sens, i need the hipfire sens to be 3 with fov 1.4125, and the zoom sensitivities to all match up with the rifle ads sens on cod 4 with 100 fov as hipfire fov and 1.603696.

I just realized and edited the post :)
