1997dake Posted December 7, 2020 Posted December 7, 2020 Hello, I basically bought subscription to make 1:1 Windows sens to game sens. However, measured values by calculator feel very off. I played around with it quite a bit, and still did not mange to match 1:1 sens. I dont know how your calculator matches windows to game sens but it feels wrong. I also, tried to make my own calculation and it felt significantly better. I practiced on kovaaks for 10-15 mins with my calculated sens then moved to aim400kg.com i tried to snap to each target to see if i overshoot or undershoot. Suprisingly it felt pretty good. I dont think my calculation is perfect, but maybe it is something to consider. (monitor width(pixels)/(dpi/inch))*(360/in-game fov(horizontal)) = your sens in cm per 360 I didnt bother simplifying the formula, because im a bit lazy Any ideas? who else tried it can you give me how you found it. The calculator defaults to MDV 0% since it gives you the same pixel movement, but what you prefer might be different like MDH 100%
1997dake Posted December 7, 2020 Author Posted December 7, 2020 it Didn’t do the trick for me. Both mdh mdv give same value which is expected.

1997dake Posted December 8, 2020 Author Posted December 8, 2020 Oh I see I see. You should make the mdh 100% default calc value I think. Because it is not user friendly imho. I will try it soon. But it is closer to my value and it should feel better than mine. Thank you a lot
1997dake Posted December 8, 2020 Author Posted December 8, 2020 Mr Wizard what do you think of my formula? Is it bad?

Nothing wrong with it, as I said it is the same as MDH 100%. The calculator defaults to MDV 0% for all conversions since this is the most consistent conversion regardless of other variables. But there's nothing wrong with changing it to another value like MDH 100% if you prefer that instead.

I think %100MDH feels better too but most consistent way %0MDV from windows to game. I see you are kovaaks player 2 legends Yamu and Arinko(from old settings and apex settings) using %0MDV from windows to game. Both are extremely accurate aimbooster and aimtrainer players.

EDIT: I dont mean you should use %0 but maybe you want to give a chance little bit who knows maybe it suits you better after using 1-2 days.
1997dake Posted December 12, 2020 Author Posted December 12, 2020 Mr Wizard what does 100% even mean? why is there even an option of 0-100% for mdh and mdv

MDH does all this for the horizontal axis, while MDV does it for the vertical. Using vertical has the benefit that any increased width (like going from 16:9 to 21:9) keeps the same sensitivity in the 16:9 portion. TheDaviSDit 1
