Different FOV in Scopes

Hello guys,

i have a question about the different FOVs in every game while ADS(1x,2x,..). For me its pretty clear that when you match FOV in different games that your 360° and MDH and MDV calculates the same sens.

But what about the FOV in Scopes? I give you an example and I hope you understand my problem. I want my ADS sens of Apex and Cold War to match.

But now when i want to know my ADS sens when i use MDH 0% (most recommended of you guys) it is way slower.

Can you guys explain me pls, why its better to match with 0% MDH when FOV is different while ADS than simply convert with 360°.

For me it feels way to slow. Dont you just want to make the same movement while ADS or is it really that complicated and you want to make the same turn in degree?

It's better because you are matching the the aiming speed between the scopes. You want the scopes to behave the same based on what you see on your screen, now how far you have to move to turn 180 degrees etc.

Also remember that ADS, 1X, 2X and so in is not the same between games. ADS in one game can be the same as a 3X in another game etc.

Thanks for your answer. So this would be a "fine" conversion ?

Yes, both these games also use MDV 0% by default, which is why the scope calculations are all the same.

Some do find MDV 0% to be too slow though, if so try MDV 100% instead and see if that feels better.
