fanatycme Posted July 4, 2017 Posted July 4, 2017 At CS:GO, on 1024x768 (stretched, 15 inch laptop), how much DPI is necessary 400 or 800?
Wizard DPI Wizard Posted July 4, 2017 Wizard Posted July 4, 2017 What's your sensitivity / 360 distance?

Wizard DPI Wizard Posted July 5, 2017 Wizard Posted July 5, 2017 Then 400 is enough to avoid pixel skipping, but 800 will make it a tiny bit smoother.

So with that in mind, more counts and less rotation per count will make it smoother. One drawback is that your mouse is more sensitive and thus picks up more micromovement. what do you recommend me to use?
maxer1293 Posted July 11, 2017 Posted July 11, 2017 Its all about consistency. But for CS GO just use about 1000 "Active DPI" so if your Ingame sensitivity is 2.5 * 400 = 1000. Most of the Pros are using an active DPI around 1000. Make sure that RAW Imput is set to 1 (m_rawimput 1).

maxer1293 Posted July 11, 2017 Posted July 11, 2017 (edited) What is your playstyle (how you aim) ? If you like to spray, I would use 1600-1800 DPI, 1000 Hz and small Gamesence. If you like to oneklick, it should be better to use 400 DPI, maybe 500Hz and 2.5 Gamesence or lower. It also depends on the mouse (laser), if you are using an older sensor you should try to find a good review on your mouse on overclock. Some sensors are less consistent on high DPI than others. Also make sure that your Monitor is 1ms reaction time. If not use 500 Hz! Only some tips based of my expirience in 10 years Gaming. Maybe other have a diffrent opinion.
