Converting overwatch to csgo

So I know overwatch and csgo fov is different. Can someone help me convert from overwatch 1080p 103 fov to csgo 1080p and the native csgo fov. Using basic conversions I know its 8.48 to 2.54 but Im not sure if this is correct due to fovs. And also how would I convert from overwatch 1080p 103 fov to csgo 4:3 1280x1024 and the native csgo fov if I were to swap to stretched?

The FOV cant be changed in CSGO, and the calculator auto calculates for the FOV change, so if you enter all your values right, it should be correct, at least as far as I know.

in theory it does that when you set it up correctly however you still end up with the given issue that mixing stretched and non stretched gameplay always results in messing with one axis in a negative way

might be able to match the x axis near perfectly but you'll end up sacrificing the y axis in the process which is just as bad for consistency

the go to still is and always will be to not play stretched res

(as long as there is at least one game that cant be stretched on the list of games you play that is)

for 16;9 to 16;9 the solution would be a simple one

find a decent sens in csgo

and use the focal length option to have the same hipfire + ads at different fov by using a custom !non stretched res
