Nick Posted September 6, 2020 Posted September 6, 2020 When I convert to other games do I just leave the fov that is shown or if I adjust it will it make a huge difference to muscle memory and feel ? https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/ preset fov Do i have the monitor distance things set up right thx?
Wizard DPI Wizard Posted September 6, 2020 Wizard Posted September 6, 2020 You should always try to match the actual FOV. This is however not possible in all games so at least you should get it as close as possible.
Nick Posted September 6, 2020 Author Posted September 6, 2020 when you mean actual, when i select the game the fov shown use that idk :0
Wizard DPI Wizard Posted September 6, 2020 Wizard Posted September 6, 2020 Just now, Nick said: when you mean actual, when i select the game the fov shown use that idk :0 The calculation output will always show you the actual FOV. The input value will differ based on the FOV Type.
Nick Posted September 6, 2020 Author Posted September 6, 2020 ah ok I see never thought of it i can use actual fov does using something different change the feel that much ?
Wizard DPI Wizard Posted September 6, 2020 Wizard Posted September 6, 2020 If you are able to match the actual FOV you are also able to replicate the sensitivity 100% in every aspect. If the FOV is different you have to compromise in some area, be it 360 distance or monitor distance, but the closer the FOV is the less the compromise.
