Turtle Posted August 1, 2020 Posted August 1, 2020 Hi! I was trying to find the appropriate sensitivity for dead by daylight when i ran into this guide. it seemed pretty promising when i was testing it in game with random values cause the range was huge. My question: Is it still possible to get the value in the screenshot (#5), so I can have 1:1 sensitivity? I'm willing to buy a subscription if necessary. Thanks!
Wizard DPI Wizard Posted August 1, 2020 Wizard Posted August 1, 2020 While Dead by Daylight is based on Unreal Engine 4, the sensitivity can absolutely not be converted from UE4 directly. The range and scaling is completely different. Dead by Daylight is in the calculator though, so converting to it is no problem except for the games limited range. Turtle 1
Turtle Posted August 1, 2020 Author Posted August 1, 2020 Thanks for the quick reply! If I wanted to attempt it, how would I go about getting the value from #5 on the screenshot?

That exact value from UE4 is not valid anymore, as the game has changed a lot since this screenshot was made. The actual conversion in the screenshot is close to this: https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=cc5c7fb2d199b8285d048a51acfdb39a But today this is how you would do it do Dead by Daylight (for this specific conversion you have to change DPI for Dead by Daylight because of the limited range): https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=dede860d7d7c54d330ba845753a372ac
Turtle Posted August 1, 2020 Author Posted August 1, 2020 Thanks a ton, man! You're a gentleman and a scholar.
3dsfinn Posted July 27, 2021 Posted July 27, 2021 It seems like you can move the sensitivity from in-game by 5 increments If you want to get exact numbers from the calculator like 8 or 19 you can go to Users\(username)\AppData\Local\DeadByDaylight\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\GameUserSettings and change killer and survivor sensitivty with the settings KillerMouseSensitivity=50 SurvivorMouseSensitivity=50
