Demon.Aesir Posted July 31, 2020 Posted July 31, 2020 (edited) Hello, I‘m playing Rainbow six siege. I have a 27 inch monitor and I play on 400 DPI with a multipler of 0,00223 and Ingame 70 Now I have a new 24,5 monitor and I want to have the same Sensitivity. Does the switch in inches change my sens, or can I Stick with the same sense on the new monitor? i hope somebody can help me. if there any more questions just let me know Edited July 31, 2020 by Demon.Aesir

Does the switch in inches change my sens, or can I Stick with the same sense on the new monitor? It depends, some do prefer a change when changing monitor size, others don't. If you want to get really technical you should also consider the distance from your eyes to the monitor as well, as the the angular size of the monitor changes.
Demon.Aesir Posted July 31, 2020 Author Posted July 31, 2020 (edited) So does this mean the size of the monitor does not affect the sensitivity? Edited July 31, 2020 by Demon.Aesir
Drimzi Posted August 1, 2020 Posted August 1, 2020 Matters just as much as field of view. Two monitors, same fov value. The fov on the small screen is equivalent to a higher fov on the larger screen.
Demon.Aesir Posted August 1, 2020 Author Posted August 1, 2020 So when I use 90 FOV on a 24 inch monitor how much FOV do I need on my 27 inch monitor ?

The extra 6.733 fov is due to the extra 3" size. You can use the exact same cm/360 as before.
Demon.Aesir Posted August 2, 2020 Author Posted August 2, 2020 Ok but the max. FOV is 90 , so could I also raise my sensitivity to get the same result? And how much ?

stereo3D Posted August 2, 2020 Posted August 2, 2020 fwiw, i didn't change my sens when i switched from 27" 1440p144 to 24" 1080p240. it still felt like my sens and my aim was on point.
