VALORANT to MW

Hello. Ive been trying to use the calculator and been trying to convert Valorants .44 sens (1 zoom) into modern warfare (FOV 120). But, the sensitivity seems real low. Can someone help me figure out how to convert this and find the right settings?

Can you share a link (purple share button) to what you are currently doing?

this should be right. if it still felt too slow change hipfire/look [monitor distance] [75%] to [100%]

edit.

this would be better since valorant use monitor distance 100% horizontal. so why not use it in cod too

To add on to this, I've been using 103 FOV, relative with monitor coefficient at 0. I want to try 120 FOV, and with that I have two questions. The zoom multiplier changes from 1 to 1.33, does the sensitivity change when I increase the FOV? And also what would happen if I change the coefficient from 0 to 1.78? Appreciate the help.

VALORANT is set to 1.78 monitor distance coefficient and 103 FOV by default and you cant change it

So if you want MW / Valorant to match you need to put Relative 1.78 and 103 FOV in MW

^go here if you haven't

you see how i put 1.78 multiplier in warzone so it fits?

GIWP6Nf.png

if you change it to any other than 1.78 the scoped multipliers wont be 1:1 match

you miss the point

you don't have to change the multiplier

the scale doesn't matter

https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=85050d161ed899574adf6a70b3b99fe0

you can use whatever scaling you like and still get useable results

https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=5c928e3debcf5568616ce1b99c2b9ee1

you can just as well use 0% scale

or even 133.333 vert

-----------------------------------------------------

you can

this is only a comfort of life matter in this specific case (doesn't prevent you from using the right modifier with the right gun)

lets not portend that we cant just insert the right value which takes what 2 seconds ?

if i get to decide if ill have to change a couple of values for having an objectively better multiplier(0% scale ) ill take that hit since in reality we all know that valorant is mostly hipfire and 1or maybe 2 scopes you end up using somewhat regularly .

telling some guy to "just use 100% horizontal because that is what valorant uses as its default ,is alright if all they do is play valorant ."

that solution couldn't be further from smart for someone that might end up playing other games as well

same thing goes for your post in the apex thread

-----------------------------------------------------

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

objectively not true

you can change your scopes behavior in all of the games you mentioned

apex even has(optional)  multiple ads sliders allowing you to use any scaling you want

having to change a number every couple games or even rounds doesn't prevent you from playing or even being good at the games you mentioned

going around spreading that kind of half informed  stuff  shouldn't be your go to

If you want to change sensitivity every time u pick up a different gun I'm not gonna stop you

But I personally like when my sensitivity matches across all guns and all games

key word "personally" dont run around telling others what to do pretending to know whats best

its lazy and objectively spoken not the best choice

Op asked how to much his sensitivity across 2 different games and I gave him a solution without changing settings every time he picks up a new gun , what else do you want to know?

you have been here pretty long as well so you should be aware that there is a tendency to make uninformed decisions

given the fact that he asked about higher fov 120 in cod your method wouldn't help with retaining his aim

nearly as much as a setup like this would https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=930a92527303703a5a7eb168ef8c12db

the last time i actually had to zoom in in both valorant /csgo has been pretty far back hardly so i wouldn't necessarily make it out  to be as much of an issue as your over dramatization makes it out to be  .

0% / focal length scaling is arguably the only non-arbitrary way to scale your sens and fov

there is little reason not to use it if you have the option to do so even if you have to change 2or 3  small numbers every now or then

360° i know u say hipfire is just for navigate but convert between differents fovs with 360 seems wrong to me. Cause the hipfire affects the zoom sensitivity so the zoom sensitivity should be also wrong.

this would solve both issues at the same time

you get 360 distance and the same feel image.png.fed122fa367e0d84c1cdb9cfd9feba80.pngeven at the different fov

Again, the link you gave has different multiplier for each weapon meaning you would have to change your scoped sensitivity each time you pick up a different gun because guns have different zoom levels

It's a solution but imo its half assed, what I suggested is way more practical in long term.

i don't care about you recommending this to other i care about you pretending that it is the only choice out there when it isn't and you are merely using not wanting to change a slider

to justify your decision  which you don't have to do at all

unless you use sniper rifles odds are you spend 90% of your time not using a scope in csgo and or valorant

if you want to use that setup of yours i don't mind at all be my guest

"It's a solution but imo its half assed, what I suggested is way more practical in long term. "

^your opinion, if you want to recommend it to other how it is "comfortable at the price of precision "  tell them its what you use  and i couldn't care less

just phrase it correctly next time and we wont have to waste out time like this : )

you can be just as precise with a 100% horizontal monitor distance as with 0%, sure 0% is "better" in technical sense but you cant set 0% in VALORANT by design of the game and thats exactly what I said in my original post

just watch you wording and try not to say stuff that implies things you might not have intended to say

saves us all time and effort properly explaining things down the road

maybe with small differences but check this

https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=b6f2de4c81ba0878738f650b3a42e422

this would be to much blackbars ;)

agreed its  a large size difference in that case  ,i use 106.26 myself and that setup works like a charm kind of the reason why i don't recommend using huge fov discrepancies

when avoidable .

doesn't make the setup unusable to me , used to play native cs on 4;3 screen tho so i feel very comfy with blackbars

Ya i really like the high fov in apex i dont know why maybe cause its a faster game. But this resolution means black bars on top, buttom and left and right if iam right. Iam also not a huge fan to play with BB.

if there was an alternative surefire way to match hipfire 360 +feel  id do it but for the time being i am somewhat bound to this

yea i just try to get good with 0% MDH beetween hipfire. Cause u can say a lower fov is the same as zoom in. In my opinion.
