Hohhenheim Posted April 20, 2020 Posted April 20, 2020 Hello everyone, I purchased Logitech G203 (G102) gaming mouse from internet and I am curious about the true DPI of that mouse. I had a Corsair Harpoon mouse and it's true dpi was unstable based on the dpi I set. When I set the dpi to 1000, the true dpi was 1100. There was a %10 tolerance. But when I set it to 500, the true dpi was really really accurate %2 tolerance max. So I am curious, which DPI should I set my G203 to get most accurate true dpi value ?
Merinda18 Posted April 20, 2020 Posted April 20, 2020 If mouse model is 203 im one hundred percent sure its 200dpi

True DPI can even vary from unit to unit. Things like aftermarket mouse feet can change the true DPI too. You can test it here online https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/dpianalyzer/ or you can use some mouse testing software (check the overclock.net forums for that). If you're talking about native DPI ("to get most accurate [...] dpi"). It's a non-issue on modern sensors as long as the DPI isn't set too high (<1800~). Edited May 15, 2020 by Ephant
