What FOV does console Modern Warfare run at?

I play M&K on Xbox at the moment and I've been trying to convert my sensitivity from Fortnite to COD. Fortnite has a locked FOV of 80 horizontal, but console COD is somewhere between 60 and 70 horizontal FOV. I'd like to know if anyone has tested or found out what it is exactly so I can get my conversion down. I've read it's 60, 65, and even 67, so which is it?

Thanks!

if those games actually support mnk then matching the 360 distance shouldn't be an issue although you might run into trouble if you are using simulated mouse inputs due to the games only supporting controller inputs ( acceleration / non linear curve )

simple way to test that tho

it would be pretty reasonable to assume that fortnite uses the same fov across platforms since "they believe fov to be a thing of balance " or at least that was their scapegoat for not including a slider

check out @Pyroxia method

People think cod modern warfare(2019) is 65 fov because old cod games 65 fov on 4:3 FOV. But Modern Warfare(2019) using 80 FOV 16.9 Both fovs are same.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I started up a custom match and paid close attention to the 3D compass on the HUD to try and measure my FOV. I would pick a point to look centered at and find another point at the furthest edge of my screen. I would get the compass to be at 300° on the point, and measuring the travel distance to either edge, left or right, would end up giving me 40° of change. I would end up at either 340° or 260° every time. Is this proof that console runs at 80 FOV? Would running the same test on PC at 100 FOV give you 50° of change to the right or left?

Thanks again for both of your replies. I was using cm/360 to convert for the longest time, but then I came across an article stating that you should only use cm/360 if both games have a similar or the same FOV. Maybe it's just placebo, but my sens in COD feels much faster which leads me to believe the FOV is less than 80. It's the magnification affect of having what appears to be a smaller FOV even though both are the same cm/360.

Strange that means COD modern warfare using different FOV than old cod games. Because 80 fov on 16:9 equals 65 FOV on 4:3 I searched whole internet for reach cod MW's FOV and people think its 65 and I think they remember old cod game FOVs. If this is correct I need to fix my console guide looks like 6 mouse sentivitiy equals 6 console sensitivity method pure luck.

But anyways metronome can work. But I wan't people never waste their times with metronome. Today I will start new tests on console.

I checked nothing change with fov it doesnt matter 6 mouse sensitivity in calculator equals 6 controller sensitivity for cod.My method only wrong at ADS
