Pherall Posted February 6, 2020 Posted February 6, 2020 (edited) Help me instead since I have sensitivity ambivalence disorder. Do you guys think its better to stick with a fixed fov between games or use like 50cm @ 90 Hdeg and 35 @110 with a vertical 0% conversion? I seem to like sensitivitys between 35 and 50 and currently uses 3250 dpi, 1/8 wps and windows to game vertical 0% conversion. Been thinking of changing all games to a fixed fov wich would be 103 Hdeg. Dont know if this is smart tho. AAAh i dont know. Sry for bad english and wording =D Edited February 6, 2020 by Pherall

Pherall Posted February 14, 2020 Posted February 14, 2020 I just want to say that matching fov between games made a huge difference! Tweaked my dpi down abit to 3150, 1/8 wps but the aim starts to get on point! Thanks again
Pherall Posted February 27, 2020 Posted February 27, 2020 (edited) Made some changes again =D After a couple of weeks i found that the spatial awareness in games like quake was too much of an issue. so I change my conversion to all vertical 0% again. Limited myself to a max fov of 120 Hdeg since i felt some diminishing returns after that. I play games like Apex, Codmw, BF @ 115Hdeg Quake @120 Cs @ 106.26 OW @ 103 I like sensitivitys between 35-50ish so i tweaked my dpi way down to 2650, 1/8 wps. Ive been thinking to increaseing it with like 50 dpi a month in line with my mouse control to maybe finally land on something like 3200 dpi? does my thinking sound wack? Please criticise if it does! Pherall Posted April 4, 2020 Posted April 4, 2020 (edited) This is starting to be my dairy and im abit drunk! =D Changed my settings again after ages of not being comfortable with the zoom sens. Was to stubborn to change my conversion since its considered the mathematically best. Sat down for 2 hours and just tweaked it in ow and changed my fov in all games to 103 Hdeg. I have always gamed with atleast 40cm/360 106.26 Hdeg. Always played at a higher fov also but i think its just a thing getting used to, besides.. im getting old so my sight is getting bad so i guess a lower fov might benefit me with bigger targets. @ 3450 dpi 1/8 wps 27 inch 1440p all vertical 0% windows conversion i felt all was dialed in and the zoom sens finally felt good. Started a game of cod mw and topfragged game after game. Started a game of Apex and got a game with a personal best kill game. FINALLY ive found a sens im comfortable with and its thanks to this site! Love and hugs gamers! Edited April 4, 2020 by Pherall derp fortunate reee and DPI Wizard 2
