Viewspeed vs MDV 0% COD Modern warefare default

I noticed that COD modern warefare monitor distance coefficient default in game of 1.33  with ADS sens. = 1 corresponds to constant viewspeed, where the calculator default of monitor distance coefficient of 0 with ADS sens. = 1 corresponds to constant mdv 0%.  Is this correct thinking?

It's useful If you want to keep the mouse input relatively the same when you change FOV on the fly. It scales based on the chord length. This is the method that you would want to use instead of Monitor Distance Match, if you wanted the 'window to the game world' to influence the sensitivity. Your mouse input will not scale proportionately with the zoom. Instead, you wouldn't scale it at all. The result will be completely wrong for Hipfire, but when comparing sensitivity relatively before and after a change in FOV, it becomes useful. Subconsciously, you would want to scale your mouse input according to the change in image, so you would probably scale your mouse input to some degree, how half-assed of an attempt at doing so, depends on the person. This makes Viewspeed feel too fast. Drimzi made a solution to this in another post, where you specify how much you need to scale your input by, proportionately with the change in image (zoom), or none at all (viewspeed). Which makes a kind of slider between viewspeed and 0% monitor distance match bare in mind this is completely arbitrary.

It seems that the developers felt viewspeed was the better option for ADS matching, probably due to the FOV change when ADS?  I'm interested in additional thoughts on this.  I originally went with MDV 0% matching for ADS but I'm second guessing this now.  (I'm not so concerned with matching apex in these images, just studying the ADS and FOV changes for MW, I don't currently have much muscle memory to worry about messing up!).  Maybe some testing in aim lab is in order... hopefully they have these options.

The MD Coefficient is vertical monitor distance. It uses a value of 1.33 since that's the same exact value Battlefield uses and effectively CS:GO uses the same thing.

Viewspeed imo is wildly unsound mathematically. 0% MDV scales sensitivity by the focal lengths or zoom ratio which is the most sound method.

Viewspeed is not something any developer will use as a reference, it's just a calculation concept available here. And Viewspeed Vertical just happens to be very close to MDV 133%, which is used by some older games since they clamp the scaling to 4:3 aspect ratio.
