How would i regard that? The Steelseries engine program doesn't have any profile settings in itself

I'm not familiar with the SteelSeries driver, but it should have profile (configuration) support:

steelseries-engine-guide-8.jpg?itok=FhSy

Would be weird if it switches to something unknown though.

I only have one profile active and it's the default one. Feeling pretty clueless on all this really. this happened with previous mice also

you got it set to 400 cpi? it has to either be on the wrong cpi/dpi setting or a sensor issue

Its set to 800 dpi as I mentioned in the original post, and a sensor issue does not explain the issue that i am having

I don't know if you answered this, but is the mouse cursor in the menus etc also really slow?

Nope. The menus are fine, only happens ingame

I managed to solve the issue, in the SteelSeries Engine settings there is a checkbox "Override Windows mouse settings on startup" Ticking that box seemed to fix the issue. Still seems weird considering m_rawinput 1 should do that by itself
