Deskop Sensitivity to game

I converted converted a dpi of 400 (windows 6/11) it to planetside and fallout and it seems slower than the dpi of 400,

I changed my windows dpi from 300 to 400 after subscribing today and discovering my previous calculations were way off according to the calculator.

Since there is no active thread on windows, I'd like to get some feedback on this if possibile.

Thanks.

Edit. Ok I measured a pic from in game to desktop, and it's hard to tell the difference, because I don't know if I'm moving my hand through the exact same length, but it's similar enough.

Can explain how you calculated the numbers from windows desktop and converted them into the different games?

I typed in screen resolution and mouse dpi.

and converted to 360 distance.

I didn't notice the view speed function before. Now I'm even more confused.

Ok, try with Viewspeed instead, it should feel more natural.

When you use 360 Distance it matches the movement from the center of your monitor to the edge.

Monitor Distance matches the movement from the center of the monitor to the percentage you choose (so 100% is the same as 360 distance).

With Viewspeed it matches the chord length, and converts to and from it based on the difference between it and the arc length.
