diznr0x Posted November 16, 2019 Posted November 16, 2019 Hey! Ive mostly played CS in my active Days, from source to go. I feel like, the PSA Method works just fine to find your own sensitivity, even if I struggle to keep it the same because I have this shitty mindset that I feel like if I miss shots or something like that: maybe I should switch sensitivitys higher or lower or even do the PSA over and over again, when not warmed up, when warmed up and so on. I don't know how to get rid off this problem in my head :/ Maybe you guys have some serious suggestions? I really want to get a sensitivity and settings right where I feel confident with and don't struggle with the need to change something. I've tried so many settings, I usually play on 400 dpi and 1.7 ingame, but I've changed higher and lower etc. I have so many hours in cs, around 4500 now I think and I still struggle with this bullshit. I don't get my problem fixed with this mindset thing. Second question, I've started to play the new cod, any ways in there to find a sensitivity or just convert from cs for example? Cuz I think in cod it's more about the movement and so on. Please help me :( Thanks guys and have a nice one! <3
Quackerjack Posted November 17, 2019 Posted November 17, 2019 two things u can try: 1. Try m_mousespeed 0 2. Csgo is a heavy A D A D game. What means the enemy models makes small steps to sides. If u have a mousepad with high static friction u get really problems there, at least it was for me.

Please help me Thanks guys and have a nice one! whilst i tend to recommend the psa method to newer player as a way to guide them into this whole sticking to one sense and improving mindset ,id give just testing "what feels right" for you a try and then getting used to it in your case this could be right thing to do . no idea if you are mainly a wrist or arm aim person or if you use a mix of both forms the right gear can impact your performance too 200 gram mice with a slow sense like 1.7 whilst mainly wrist aiming would be a death sentence to me personally i have adapted 0% vertical for hipfire ads and scope and i play with a low fov on 16;9 (68.43vertical) in siege and other fps (38.4839 cm) in csgo with default fov that would translate to about (34.8901cm) and it works relatively well for me using g305 (lightweight mod 80grams +hyperglides on g640 pad) Second question, I've started to play the new cod, any ways in there to find a sensitivity or just convert from cs for example? Cuz I think in cod it's more about the movement and so on. 0% when used with a similar or identical fov as the game you come from works like a charm id go as far as saying "movement is easier than aiming " and can hardly be converted as easily as aim, so going for the best possible aim is pretty much the go to especially when considering that you can move all you want in a game with a short ttk and a corner camping issue being able to 1/2 tap reliably is going to drastically help Edited November 17, 2019 by fortunate reee
