anth0s Posted November 15, 2019 Posted November 15, 2019 When changing the FOV in csgo the 360 degree seems to be incorrect. Example below when I pick a FOV of 160 and I measured 360 it should be around 32 cm. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Wizard DPI Wizard Posted November 15, 2019 Wizard Posted November 15, 2019 The calculations are correct, but note that you can't actually change FOV in CSGO unless you have sv_cheats enabled offline or play on a server with cheats enables. Also zoom sensitivity actually affects hipfire when changing FOV, so if you do have cheats enabled and change FOV, the calculated 360 distance is only correct if the zoom sens is 1.
anth0s Posted November 15, 2019 Author Posted November 15, 2019 Yea I enabled them and was playing in a custom training map. The 360 is correct when i play in fov_cs_debug 90 but when I change it to other values the 360 degrees cm values seems to be incorrect.

anth0s Posted November 15, 2019 Author Posted November 15, 2019 oh you are right zoom sensitivity has to be set to 1 then. Sorry for the confusion.
Wizard DPI Wizard Posted November 15, 2019 Wizard Posted November 15, 2019 Just now, anth0s said: oh you are right zoom sensitivity has to be set to 1 then. Sorry for the confusion. It should be correct then. But I'll add a separate hipfire calculation soon for modified FOV so it can be calculated
