The sensitivity options in games have completely changed with the latest patch.

Edit : Seems to be the same settings as Quake Live now.

noob question. If I change my sensitivity and FOV in config file than numbers in game options where sliders are doesn't change.

How does it work? Should I change only numbers in config file and forget about sliders? Or I need to change sliders (no decimal in FOV and not that great control of sensitivity slider) or maybe booth?

This is the case with some games, but usually the config file settings take precedence. If you change the sliders in-game it will overwrite the config file, so don't touch them :)

what if I already messed it up? I can bring back defaults of mouse sensitivity. Will it help? Looks like defaults for FOV can not be set.

I have bring back defaults but looks like slider at default state 5 overwrite config file :(

Just tried converting my Overwatch sensitivity to Quake Champions and it just told me, "No calculations yet.." A little sour because I paid for a membership for this sole purpose. Can anyone help me out? My OW sens is 3 in-game and 1600dpi. Much appreciated.

Hi, your sensitivity with Overwatch FOV (103) will be 0.9 and if you pick Quake default FOV (130), your sens will be 1.238

This usually means that something is missing in forms from the game you are converting from. Can you post a screenshot of the issue?

I got it working this time around. When using the calculator, which is the best way to make your sensitivity universal? I get different values when using 360

distance, Monitor Distance, and Viewspeed.

Use Viewspeed or Monitor Distance. Viewspeed is a bit more dynamic, and usually falls around the 60% Monitor Distance range.

When using the monitor distance or viewspeed it gives me a higher value/faster sensitivity. How does it work exactly? Sorry I am very new to DPI and in-game sensitivities. Thank you for the customer support.

Check out this video regarding Monitor Distance. Viewspeed works a little differently, but is uses a lot of the same principles:

Thank you. This gave me a bit of a better understanding, but I'm still a little confused. I typically use 360 Distance whenever I calculate my sensitivities. Is using Monitor Distance superior?

Yes, 360 distance only works well when the FOVs is very close to each other. The best way to illustrate this is matching 360 distance between hipfire and a sniper scope, it wouldn't work. But if you match something like CSGO hipfire with Overwatch hipfire, 360 distance would work quite well.
