Modern Warfare Monitor Distance Coefficient Defaulted to 1.33?

I did some searching and found that instead of 1.33 I should be using 1.78, can anyone confirm?

Some help with converting my ADS from fortnite would be amazing too I can't figure it out.

The calculator does the magic for you. If you just enter your desired monitor distance (either vertical or horizontal), the equivalent coefficient will be calculated and used a placeholder value. You will only see this when you have not entered your own value into the field.

HI there,

I'm trying to copy my ADS multiplier from destiny 2 to Cod and im not sure if this is correct. I just want the games to feel 1:1 to because they are both heavy on the ADS combat and I do switch from them from time to time. I dont want to mess up my muscle memory either games. Seeing the discrepancy kind of bothers me. I tried to play both games at the same time but my pc cant handle that level of multi-tasking.  Both games of my games are using default monitor distance coefficient, and i was wondering I should change COD's to match destiny 2's.

if you want to be able to swap between them you should definitely match  fov for hipfire , as dpi wizard mentioned the calc does that for you set it to 100%( default destiny2)

Hey!
I was trying to do what you did here and for some reason the results I get is completely different, could you tell me why?
My goal is to have the same sens in ADS as in hipfire. What monitor distance coefficient do I need to use? The program says 1 but in your post it says 1.78 so im a little bit confused.
Thanks!

MDV and MDH are not the same. for same sens in ADS you have to select 360° distance.

what specifically are you looking for , using 360 distance wont help you with anything in the long run

there is multiple valid options for scopes spanning from 133%/ 178%/100% vertical to 100% horizontal or even 0% hor / vertical

( the only time there is no actual difference between hor and vertical unless you play stretched res )

all of those are valid options and some will serve you better than others

( 0% will pretty much give you the same feel across all scopes in the long run ,allowing you to aim well with all kinds of scopes )

the only thing 360 distance does for you is retain the 360 distance  even when using scopes (which results in having varying speeds with varying scopes making using higher zoom scopes near useless , at best just simply not viable   )

^ for hip fire at the same fov +  360 distance is nice since it allows you to retain your movement spacial awareness

177.777 or 178% was a scaling used in uniform soldier aiming in the battlefield series men't to be the new 133% for 16;9 screens

many players just disliked the thing and they reverted to 133% as default whilst giving you the option to use whatever scale you prefer

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(since 133% was initially intended for 4;3screens)

^ 16:9 = 1.777777778 // 177.78 % vert

   4;3 = 1.33333333 ///133.333 % vert

9;16= 0.5625// 56,25% hor

3;4= 0.75 /// 75%hor

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

it all kind of makes sense once you got the hang of it best thing it to try them all  and see which one works for you

then stick to that one across all games you play
