Fortnite to Gears 5 ADS, how is this happening?

I can convert my hipfire fine, but when I try my ADS it is clearly way off. I'm probably doing it wrong still, I've literally never succeeded on converting my Fortnite ADS over to any game.

Can someone please help me.

targeting FOV is 80°, just like hip-fire FOV. that's why the calculator suggests a targeting multiplier of 1.

in contrast, aim FOV in gears 5 is 45° (with default FOV), which is actually closer to "scope - assault rifle".
