haxxproxx Posted August 6, 2019 Posted August 6, 2019 Hello there, I've been struggling with the converting tool, even if i have it for like 3 months now I barely use it, probably because i'm dumb and don't really understand how it works. Anyway, I've tried to convert lately my sens from different FOV in the game APEX LEGENDS which should be simple right? not for D&D there :D! So let's say I use 88 fov (Overwatch one) in Apex, and I want to go for 110 fov. The results is attached. So here's my question : How i'm suppose to get the sensitivity conversion ? I would like the tool to tell me : 2.7sens at 88FOV = 2.2 at 110FOV per exemple.
Wizard DPI Wizard Posted August 6, 2019 Wizard Posted August 6, 2019 I assume you expect it to behave like this example from CSGO: However 360 distance in Apex is unaffected by FOV change, meaning it will stay the same regardless of FOV. You can see this in the game info section: So the sensitivity will stay the same with FOV changes as long as you use 360 distance as matching method. haxxproxx 1
haxxproxx Posted August 6, 2019 Author Posted August 6, 2019 Hello DPI Wizard, Thanks for the fast answer, that's exactly what I wanted. So the sens doesn't change at all depending on the FOV, nice to know, sorry for that dumb question then! Again, thanks! You can consider my "problem" sovled Best regards. DPI Wizard 1
