Help, best conversion method

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

Hey, I would like to convert my CSGO sensitivity to any other games, but I have been reading several topics on this forum and I don't understand what is the best conversion method to keep the ''muscle memory''. 360º Distance, Monitor Distance - Horizontal, Monitor Distance Vertical, Viewspeed - Horizontal, or Viewspeed - Vertical.

1. What conversion method is the best for hipfire?
2. What is the best for ADS?
3. What is the best for Scope?
4. If i change the aspect ratio or resolution, will my sens be affected?

My CSGO settings are: 400 DPI, 3.0 sens, monitor inch 24'', aspect ratio 4:3, resolution 1280x960.
If I want to change my CSGO resolution to 1920x1080 and 16:9, should I change my sens to keep ''muscle memory''?

I would like to convert my CSGO sens to:

PUBG: 1920x1080, 16:9, FOV 103, and FPP perspective.
Rainbow Six Siege: 1920x1080, 4:3, FOV 90.

1.    either 360/0%monitor distance (i prefer the later one, for the best possible memory)

2.    0%monitor distance

3.    0%monitor distance

4.    most aim methods yes ,0%monitor distance doesnt really

you just need to get used to the method at first that can kind of screw with your brain

best odds are if you read up here csgo uses a different multiplier and r6 does not allow for multiple scope sensetivities so you can not really unify them (using 1x scopes and ads will be the same if you use all with ads)

A lot of games use 100% Horizontal Or 100% vertical as their default, so it makes sense to have it in the calculator rather than convert between them. Plus there are slight differences between them when you change from resolution to resolution and different stretches

MDH and MDV 0% is the same as long as the aspect ratio is also the same. Any other percentage will be different though, as well as converting between different aspect ratios.
