A problem with ur dpi analyzer

For target distance, I saw a tutorial on youtube that said "Grab a ruler and measure the distance you'll move your mouse starting from the red crosshair till the end" so I put the ruler on the screen and measured it and what I fill in the target distance is always whatever I measure with my ruler, then I change the units to CM and I'm always getting a 62~64 dpi, I am doing something wrong eh?

Yes :)

You're supposed to measure the physical distance you move the mouse, not the distance on the screen. It's easy to go off-screen, so try with 5 cm first and see what you get.

Oh, so lets suppose the target distance is 2cms, I am supposed to move my mouse 2cms to identify the proper dpi of the mouse?

Correct. But 2cm is quite short so it's hard to get an accurate reading. The longer you move it the better, but the crosshair you drag has to stay within the boundaries of the monitor.
