Teardown is in!

It appears that "Teardown" sensitivity calculation has significant overshoot (around %60), I've tried changing my polling rate and FOV but cannot fix it.

That's likely due to your WPS, the game was initially set to not being affected by Windows sensitivity, but it is. So check again now with the correct WPS setting. Also smoothing must be set to 0.

It's 6 with Enhance Precision off, Smoothing is off in game too.

Something else is up then, the sensitivity is based off of pi and the calculations are definitely correct. What exactly is your expected vs actual sensitivity and how are you converting?

Converting CoD MW2019 "Hipfire" of 5.03655, or Arma 3 "Hipfire" of 0.53087819 to Teardown outputs 29 from both games with Max discrepancy: 0.0291%. If I move my mouse until I get a full revolution in MW2019/Arma 3, moving my mouse the same distance in Teardown gives me approximately 1.6 revolutions. All my FOV's are 120 Horizontal 16:9, DPI is 3200, polling rate 1000Hz, display 3840x2160.

Download this, click the Physical Stats button and set it to 1000 CPI and 10.83 inches, launch MW 2019 and execute the program with Alt+backspace. It should do a perfect 360 in hipfire. Then test it in Teardown and it should do a perfect 360 again.

In the tool you sent setting 7.22  in/rev gives me a full revolution. Options XML attached.

options.xml 581 B · 1 download

Thanks! That actually make it sound like you have your WPS set to 7 in Windows and not 6 (i.e. one notch up from the default). Which would make the correct sensitivity in Teardown 19.

That works, perfectly from one side to the other. I just realized my window scaling is set to 150%, and the error was 50%, could that be it?
