zlFrosT Posted May 16, 2019 Posted May 16, 2019 Hello, I am new to conversions and I have been recommended to convert the sensitivities with monitor distance vertical since that would help muscle memory I would like to know if the conversion I just made is correct since the difference in sensitivity is very high
Rec0il Posted May 16, 2019 Posted May 16, 2019 (edited) Your fov setting for apex is wrong. In the bottom right you selected "config file" so you should go into your settings folder (C:\Users\YourName\Saved Games\Respawn\Apex\profile) open it and copy your cl_fovScale value. Then put that value in the calculator FOV setting for apex. (If you want to match your CSGO hipfire to the 1x in Apex the cl_fovScale setting you should use is 1.5 which is 106 fov in game, but remember that the in-game FOV slider is inaccurate, you should always look at the cl_fovScale value) Edited May 16, 2019 by Rec0il
zlFrosT Posted May 17, 2019 Author Posted May 17, 2019 Okay thanks for the help I would also like to know if the conversion is good because of the difference in sensitivities is very high

You can either change the FOV in Apex so it's the same as in CSGO (cl_fovScale "1.285714") or change the conversion setup for Normal to 360 distance.
zlFrosT Posted May 17, 2019 Author Posted May 17, 2019 Thanks again. A question that is better for muscle memory Conversions with MDH or MDV 0%?
Wizard DPI Wizard Posted May 17, 2019 Wizard Posted May 17, 2019 Just now, zlFrosT said: Thanks again. A question that is better for muscle memory Conversions with MDH or MDV 0%? If you have the same aspect ratio in both games it doesn't matter. It will only make a difference if you convert from say 16:9 to 21:9 etc.
zlFrosT Posted May 17, 2019 Author Posted May 17, 2019 Then would it be better to convert normal in 360 distances?
