Quakelive sensitivity wrong?

Hey,

I have problems with calculating ql sensitivity on ur site;

My ingame settings:

DPI: 400

sens: 2,886364

FOV: 96

monitor: 24

res. 1920x1080

Thats the calcualtions I receive on your site:

51.png Quake Live - Hipfire
Sensitivity 1:
set sensitivity "2,886364"
360° rotation:
51.9545 cm
Config FOV:
96
Actual VFOV:
79.59 degrees
Actual HFOV:
111.94 degrees

So it shows almost 52cm....in game, measering full 360 degree rotation, I have +/-33cm.

Note, in game I also use mouse accel 0.1, but I dont see any place on this site to input accel value? Also, It took e like 2 min of v slow full 360 rotation to measure, so I believe 33cm is more or less accurate of what it is.

Can you advice why I get 52cm value on ur site, and also why there is no mouse accel support for QL? mouse accel is one of the most important things in this game, used by pretty much every pro player that counts on global scene.
Maybe I simply cannot find it?

you have to enter a dot not a comma.

I'm no expert on mouse accel. But, using acceleration, the faster you move your mouse the further the cursor moves being my basic understanding. Given that then how would the calculator (or yourself) know at what speed your moving your mouse to calculate how far the cursor will move.

There's no standard for mouse acceleration, each game can implement it to their liking. If you really want consistency id suggest looking at using a third party software (there's a few) and setting ingame accel to 0. Some brands like Steelseries have mouse accel options within their mouse software.

That way you can match games using the calculator and maintain a consistent acceleration across all games.
