jabbothehut Posted February 6, 2017 Posted February 6, 2017 So just a quick question. If I have uniform soldier aim on in BF1 (at 1.33 coefficient), zoom sensitivity set to 1 on CS:GO, and match my optics at 75% screen distance (relative to my hipfire) on Rainbow Six Siege; they should all match up to give the same sensitivity "feel"? Is this correct?
radiofriendly277 Posted February 7, 2017 Posted February 7, 2017 no, zoom sens in csgo should be at 0.82. 1 is default, but its a bit faster.
WhoCares? Posted February 7, 2017 Posted February 7, 2017 (edited) 0.82 matches ads and hip sensetivity in csgo. But jabbothehut want the same feel when using scopes between different games. 1.0 in the way to go then. In bf1 the coefficient has to be 1.333333. And for raionbow six....well I hope the scopes matches at 75% screen distance If you play exclusively csgo than 0.82 is a good value but not when um play a lot of different shooters Edited February 7, 2017 by WhoCares?
radiofriendly277 Posted February 8, 2017 Posted February 8, 2017 Wouldn't you want to match your hip fire, scope fire, and rainbow six/bf1 fire all to the exact same sensitivity? then you don't have to convert multiple values, just level everything to the same?
WhoCares? Posted February 8, 2017 Posted February 8, 2017 (edited) Some people like lower sensitivity when using sights. I would love to match up hip and ads too, but....: how many games do you know with a seperat ads-sensitivity slider/config file? And how much from these games have sight-calculation on this website? If you match up hip and ads in just 3 games, all other games with reduction in sensitivity when using scopes (and no option to change it) would feel strange. "75% is the standard in many games between hipfire and scopes." (Quote from DPI Wizard :http://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/forum/topic/539-what-does-match-at-mean/) So 75% match at distance" is what I am going with cause it provides the greatest flexibility between games. If you ar only playing Bf1, csgo and rainbow6, that matching up ads and hip is great Edited February 8, 2017 by WhoCares?
jabbothehut Posted February 9, 2017 Author Posted February 9, 2017 If i wanted to match at 100% screen distance on bf1 I would set the coefficient to 177% right?
WhoCares? Posted February 10, 2017 Posted February 10, 2017 (edited) Yes. But personally I would stick to 75% screen distance for greatest flexibility between games. But if 100% (=coefficient of 177% ingame) feels better for you, go for it Remember...even tho 100% sound better than 75% it isn't. Your sensitivity only matches up at one point. If you match at 100%, the sensitivity is only correct at 100%. At 99% or 101% screen distance there is already a discrepancy. In the end it doesn't matter if it is 0%, 50%,75% or 100%. Take that what feels better for you. Edited February 10, 2017 by WhoCares?
MightyJay Posted June 6, 2020 Posted June 6, 2020 @Wizards does that mean that if i want the exact same sens/feel in rainbow six than battlefield instead of playing with 1.78 coeff i should go for 1.33 ?

No, R6 doesn't scale aims in any logical fashion, so just use what you prefer in Battlefield and pick the calculated aim sensitivity for the scope you want matched in R6.
MightyJay Posted June 6, 2020 Posted June 6, 2020 Ok, so in R6 i can " only " matched one ? It is either 1x or acog ? Is this right ?
