martinige Posted November 24, 2016 Posted November 24, 2016 If I convert my CS:GO sensitivity of 2.4@1000DPI to HEX values, I get c92f163e. If I put that value in both places in the configuration file, I get 7.7 in-game sensitivity instead of the 8.1 of the calculator. This confused the hell out of me when I tried to verify my changes to the configuration file. More examples: 52B81E3E = 8.1 in-game, not 8.6 BF9F1A3E = 7.9 in-game, not 8.4 The actual distance/360 for HEX values still seems to be fine, at least as accurately as I can measure it.
Wizard DPI Wizard Posted November 24, 2016 Wizard Posted November 24, 2016 Ignore the in-game slider/values, as it doesn't display the correct value. The HEX value is the one the game actually uses
martinige Posted November 24, 2016 Author Posted November 24, 2016 Alright. I assumed the slider would show the nearest possible value but I guess I just misinterpreted what "inaccurate" means. Thanks for the response!
