Set it to 850CPI and keep it at 6/11. Hero sensor's 12k steps are off by about 8%. That said when you calculate based on your cpi put 800-810 instead of 850.
450 is actually ~410
850 - 800
1700 - 1600
3400 - 3200 and so on.

Noob police if you are "phobia free" and your opinion isnt at all retarded install 1803 and enjoy your smooth accel.

Wait what? DPI analyzer gave same results for both mices.

EDIT: No Way I tested both of them now in game. If I set g305 1700 DPI zoowie's 1600 DPI feels slow If I set 305 1600 both mice feels same.

I'm on 1803.

Don't have any accel in any games (unless I do it myself with the interception driver), cause I don't have EPS turned on. Kovaaks sens matcher returns the exact same distances no matter how fast I run the script. Mouse sens isn't subjective. It either lands on the same pixel consistently or it doesn't, there's either accel or there isn't - and there isn't.

im kind of confused. My windows is in 1809, do I need to do anything to remove mouse acceleration? I have a s2417 which is a 2k monitor and I use 125% scale for it.

I only unchecked Enhanced Pointer Precision and use the MarkC for win10 125%.

Is there anything wrong? or I should change the MarkC to win10 default?

What does this mean bro? do u mean that g305's 450 dpi is actually 410?

I am now using g305 on 2k screen 125% scale with 400 dpi. But i used to use ecA for years with 400 dpi on 1080p 100% scale screen.

Should I increase my g305 to 450 dpi to get same value like I had before?

no. Currenlty we tested g305 in DPI analyser with @MuntyYy. Can u help us. My g305 is new and firmware's updated. I have no issue but he is right. So many people noticed this problem on forums. Can you check with us?

EDIT:

Images show the test results on DPI analyser WPS 1/11 distance 30Cm.

First image show results Ec1b and g305 both 800 DPI. 2nd image g305 runs at 850 DPI.

I repeat again I did this test on latest firmware you can see so many people had this issue on forums probably logitech fixed this with firmware update silently.

I just tested old g pro with 3366 and g305 in ow with game sens 10. I  personally felt like still should use 400 on g305. Flick and tracking is quite different with 450 with same game sens which should not be only 10 dpi difference. But im not sure whether I use MarkC correctly remove the mouse acceleration on my 125% scale monitor.

You only need the Mark C fix if you want the enhance pointer precision curve to be a flat line (so turning it on or off has no effect). It has no other function.

There is little point to this (unless you play a few specific very old games or programs that required it) as you can just leave the box un-ticked if you don't want mouse acceleration.

@everyone Im kinda nervous to post new things to this thread as opinions are always different but I've edited it once again with the information "we" agree upon. The most important information is the actual tweaking guide I shared to you all.

wait what? I always noticed that the sensitivity in csgo is wrong even with raw input. Cs 1.6 felt much more raw. Now u tell us that the raw input method in csgo is wrong? I thought wizard already tested it???!?!

Never had any issues here, raw input is raw. Straight from the mouse driver. If registry settings affects raw input, it means that acceleration would be applied to, and I've never seen that happen. Some Windows releases has had issues with the mouse input, but that should only affect games that do not support raw input.

so as i understand, when modified registries are applied, it doesn't matter if "enhance pointer precision" setting is checked or not in WPS? correct?

That's the purpose of the MarkC fix and all the stuff in the OT. It just makes the windows accel curve flat, so that if you enable windows accel (enhance pointer precision), there will be no acceleration. There is absolutely nothing else to it.

You only need it if you play really old games that turn on "enhance pointer precision" automatically.

The only tool you need is this: https://github.com/TemporaryName/PointerSpeedSetter
