Wizard DPI Wizard Posted October 19, 2016 Author Wizard Posted October 19, 2016 Couldn't access the sniper for zoom calculation, how do I do it?!
stereo3D Posted October 20, 2016 Posted October 20, 2016 just do a bot match: versus > LAN > host > match options > fill with bots there is one on reclaimed. hold the tac-com key (shift) to see all power weapons.

Thank you, added! Changed all weapons to Longshot to find one easier
stereo3D Posted October 20, 2016 Posted October 20, 2016 the polling rate behaviour is downright bizarre. i only get the calculated sens at 125hz. at 250hz it's much higher, at 500hz very low, at 1000hz even lower. and when i switch back to 125hz it's not what it originally was until i restart the game. also small mouse movements don't register when fully zoomed in due to an inaccuracy at very low sensitivity values. it would be really interesting what your results are in gears 1 remastered.

Finally someone else noticed this, so I'm not crazy. They need to fix this stuff. I posted about the sniper deadzone problem and didn't get a single reply on the tech support forums, so I assumed I was the only one.
stereo3D Posted January 29, 2017 Posted January 29, 2017 i think there is a bug in the distance calc for non-default fovs. sens 1, dpi 500, fov 100 -> 47.1038 cm distance 47.1038 cm, dpi 500, fov 100 -> 360° rotation: 42.0606 cm, Discrepancy: 10.7066% (5.0432 cm)
THE qrunt Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 I feel like the Gears 4 calculation is very off for some reason. Matching with viewspeed to Overwatch, Gears 4 feels way slower. I tried 500hz as specified, but it made no difference. Other games seem to match fine with Overwatch. I'm using default FOV in both games.
stereo3D Posted October 31, 2019 Posted October 31, 2019 mouse smoothing is on by default. %LOCALAPPDATA%\Packages\Microsoft.SpartaUWP_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\GearGame\Saved\Config\UWP\input.ini [/Script/Engine.InputSettings] bEnableMouseSmoothing=False
stereo3D Posted October 31, 2019 Posted October 31, 2019 @DPI Wizardcan you please add support for these settings? [/Script/Engine.InputSettings] bEnableMouseSmoothing=False AxisConfig=(AxisKeyName="MouseX",AxisProperties=(Sensitivity=1.000000)) AxisConfig=(AxisKeyName="MouseY",AxisProperties=(Sensitivity=1.000000)) bEnableFOVScaling=True FOVScale=0.011110
