thedumninja Posted October 4, 2016 Posted October 4, 2016 Hello, I was reading up on zoom sensitivity in cs go, and how you set it to a certain number to get 1:1 movement when scoped and unscoped, but I was wondering if I could get help with the ads of certain games, and what the 1:1 movement should be? I've been playing different games and the ads feels really off.
Wizard DPI Wizard Posted October 4, 2016 Wizard Posted October 4, 2016 With the zoom sensitivity set to 1 in cs:go, it's 1:1 at 100% monitor distance with a 4:3 resolution. With 16:9 it's 1:1 at 75%. You really just need to find one game you think feels right, and that hopefully have a separate zoom sensitivity supported here, and clone that thedumninja 1
thedumninja Posted October 4, 2016 Author Posted October 4, 2016 Thank you for the reply, it means a lot. The zoom on the awp in csgo feels good since I have a lot of time on that game, my problem is when I play games where you ADS. It just never feels quite right so I was wondering what that should be in games like battlefield, h1z1, planetside, and overwatch to get that 1:1 feeling across all games and zooms?
thedumninja Posted October 7, 2016 Author Posted October 7, 2016 In another post you said "0.81 in CSGO is accurate to the hipfire sensitivity at basically 1 pixel movement. This is about the same as 37 for the relative Widowmaker aim, assuming the hipfire is also matched to CSGO." My question is can you do this with iron sights and things like that for different games?

BF4: Use the calculator to match hipfire with CS:GO hipfire, and turn on Uniform Soldier Aiming in BF4. PlanetSide 2: For hipfire, use the calculator to match with CS:GO hipfire. For aimed, multiply hipfire distance/360 by 1.35 before plugging it into the aimed calculator. For scoped, use the same sensitivity as aimed. Make sure vertical FOV is set to 74 in both BF4 and PS2. thedumninja Posted October 26, 2016 Author Posted October 26, 2016 Awesome, thank you for the help, just wondering does multiplying by 1.35 work for every game, like h1z1 and such?
octiceps Posted October 26, 2016 Posted October 26, 2016 Awesome, thank you for the help, just wondering does multiplying by 1.35 work for every game, like h1z1 and such? IDK, I don't play H1Z1. Multiplying by 1.35 for PlanetSide 2 is only because the calculator is wrong and the 1x sights that "aimed" is based on are actually 1.35x. thedumninja 1
