Or does mouse_use_per_scope_sensitivity_scalars not matter? I does matter, as it enables the ability to set the sensitivity for each scope.
sonorciff Posted July 21, 2023 Posted July 21, 2023 So even if every value is the same, it is still needed?

If you want 0% mdv or mdh in apex legends you don’t have to change anything it’s the basic value 1.000000 or in your case (fov rounding from the game) 1.004245. And no you don’t have to set this value for all scopes. In this case it doesn’t matter. sonorciff 1

So in my case, I can set the following values, and never need to touch scalar_1 through scalar_7, right? mouse_use_per_scope_sensitivity_scalars "0" mouse_zoomed_sensitivity_scalar_0 "1.004245"

r3d84 Posted July 27, 2023 Posted July 27, 2023 I need help, totally confused at this point I converted my Warzone settings to Apex, but aiming feels off. I use 110 FoV in-game, which results in "fov_scale 1.55" - but this reddit post says I should divide 110/70 to get the proper value...which is 1.5714. So what should I do now?! Use this 1.5714 as value for the converter, which results in different mouse settings...or just use the mouse settings that the converter gave me with 1.55 and change to 1.5714 in the profile.cfg...so that I use mouse settings for 1.55 with 1.57. Right now, im confused. I know that mouse_zoomed_sensivity_scalar_0 to 6 have no function, so I use mouse_use_per_scope_sensitivity_scalars "0". Thank you guys.

This is wrong, the config file FOV is a multiplier of 70, while the in-game FOV scale of 70 to 110 corresponds to multiplier 1 to 1.55 in the config file, which in turn makes 110 in-game 108.5 in reality r3d84 1

Maybe you could check my updates settings on the screenshot below Thanks

thecrackstreetboys Posted May 26, 2024 Posted May 26, 2024 (edited) At one time I played at .971 sensitivity with 1600 dpi (1,533.6 edpi) and the default 1 multipler on the 2x scope. If I'm playing at a much lower EDPI (400-500), and I want to keep everything else the same but make the sensitivity on the 2x scope equivalent to what it was playing at 1,533.6 edpi, how do I do that? I'm assuming I would need the cm/360 value for being 2 scoped with a 1 multiplier at 1,533.6 edpi, which the calculator doesn't currently tell you, but should be possible - then just work out the multiplier that would create that cm/360 value at the current sens, right? DeadPixel Posted July 29, 2024 Posted July 29, 2024 I am confused on the scope sensitivities. If Apex uses 0% Monitor Distance as default, then how come when I use 110 in-game FOV the calculated multipliers for scope sensitivities shift to 1.01 instead of staying at 1?

So use the values from the calculator as it accounts for this.
MGYBlue Posted December 19, 2024 Posted December 19, 2024 Why the FOV figure is not exact 4:3 HFOV like other games made by source engine?

The config file is exactly 4:3 HFOV (70*multiplier). The in-game FOV is likely just "beautified" to go from 70 to 110 instead of 108.5. MGYBlue 1
