@DPI Wizard

to double check. If i wanted to use the 103 FOV conversion, i have to set my cl_fovScale to 1.237600 on the apex config. this will show the in game FOV slider at 88 though because thats showing the 4:3 resolution. but i am ACTUALLY seeing 103 on screen because i am actually on 16:9 native right?

what is the correct conversion for the fov?

Just select Hdeg 16:9 and enter 90 for Halo as well, then see the output for the config FOV.

Try to use MDH 75% OR 100%

match apex fov to what you used in warface and use 360 distance for hipfire

I'm sorry, but my aim still feels not the SAME, as it should be.

Help me convert my sens from APEX to Hunt Showdown.
APEX
1.7
0.7
90 FOV
800DPI

results was, but it feels different, starting mess up my aim in APEX.

also how can I change my ADS SENS to 0.7, and not 1 as default, it's too high for me personally.

you aren't showing your conversion i assume you got it set up like this?\

this should work fine although as far as i can see there might be a fov difference

if you set hunt showdown to (location) config file mode you should be able to match your fov to be identical between the two games

if you are using ingame 90 fov in apex that comes close to thisimage.png.041ea4908572458463cd60d657bc3bdc.png (at least the vertical fov should be the same im on 4;3)

since hunt config file uses vdeg fov you wanna type in the vertical fov of apex so 73.02

for me this would look like this (btw you can enable darkmode if you scroll down all the way and press on theme )

It was like this

You have to select a scope individually and enter the sensitivity for this, since the values are out of range for the calculator.

Ok, but now it look like a mess of random numbers.

And i don't know how much it's Aperture Scope in Apex variant.

It's what, 3x, 5x or...
Sounds dumb, but I still don't get it.

you should definitely use the save file instead of the ingame apex with 1.0 uses vertical 0% method so you can just use the all option

image.png.e1c26f1bc779ee763f23c7f49574128a.pngthis would be 1.7 800 dpi

image.png.5ddf939f2fcb58e0f870a6c4acbd21b7.png

this box (located under the calculator ) shows you the location of the games settings file

so youd open attributed. xml with notepad or whatever editor you got on your pc and change the values the calc gives you

@DPI Wizarddid they remove the option to set fovscale in config file? I've tried to put the value in but it always disappears.

The FOV must be set in profile.cfg, not settings.cfg ;)

Hi i'm new at this so I just wanted to make sure I was doing this right. Are the apex zoom sensitives supposed to be the same for a 0% monitor match?

generally looks cleaner if you match the hipfire fov to be identical , but yes its identical

Something is off, when I convert from Overwatch to Apex this happens:

Where is the mistake? I use the tool like I always do. All I change is Sens, DPI, FOV that is it. It is way too fast^^

Your FOV is wrong. Config file calculations expect config file FOV whenever possible, and it is not unusual that the value is different from the in-game value.

If you have it set to 110 in-game that would be 1.55 in the config file ;)
