RockieSmithson Posted December 13, 2018 Posted December 13, 2018 im trying to lower my dpi from 3200 down to 1600, but ive gotten pretty comfortable with my current overwatch sens of 2.9. is there a way that the calculator can adjust for the dpi change? i could just double my ow sens to compensate but im not sure if its that easy or not

Your effective sensitivity is a product of in-game sensitivity and DPI (as well as Windows Pointer Speed). RockieSmithson 1

This only works for about half the games. For any game that has 0 as a valid sensitivity this does not work. Using the calculator like potato shows does the trick though. RockieSmithson 1

Half was a bit exaggerated, a quarter (based on the games in the calculator) is more correct. 85 entries are this way, for example: PUBG in-game: Minecraft: All Battlefields: Planetside 2: RockieSmithson and potato psoas 2

This is probably a better example: Sensitivity formulas for games like this are usually much more complex than those where there is a 1:1 relation between sensitivity, DPI and distance.
