Benefits of matching actual FoV?

Hello. As title implies, I just want to gain more insight on the benefits of matching FoV between games. For example, I like using csgo to calibrate aim, because of its hitscan and pretty responsiveness. However, it is locked at 106.(something) degrees horizontal, which can give me a benefit of more info if it was larger. Another example of an issue I've considered is if models in other games move differently(can slide, faster base movement, etc.), how important is FoV matching? I always match my sens using monitor distance 0%. Also, I play a variety of games, with more than 1 game having locked FoV's and others with adjustables FoV's.

Matching the fov means that you are matching everything (tracking, flicking, 180ing) which means that you will be more consistent

If you have diferent FOVs on diferent games you will be compromising in some areas. In your case since you match at 0% you are maintaining tracking but losing on your flicks

What you can do if a game has a locked fov is to use this guide:

My 360 mouse looking distance, whether hipfire or just looking, is always set to the same. Then everything else in monitor distance, to clarify. My ads zoom may be different it seems, but csgo doesnt really have a zoom as i dont ever use any scoped rifles. Black Ops 4 also has an ADS yaw and pitch multiplier, would that problem be presented in BO4 if those setting were tuned?
