aKH.DD Posted October 30, 2018 Posted October 30, 2018 How do I convert my rainbow six sens to CSGO if on csgo I play 4:3 but on rainbow six I play 16:10? 12 - 12 - 60 400 Dpi
Wizard DPI Wizard Posted October 30, 2018 Wizard Posted October 30, 2018 Generally enter a 4:3 resolution for csgo (like 1920x1440) and 16:10 res for R6 (1920x1200).

I'm sorry to be a pain but by any chance could you do an example conversion to csgo for me? I want to do this for my friends and i've had the subscription last month but just could not work out how to use this site properly. My sens for Rainbow Six Siege is: 12 Horiz, 12 Vert, 59 ADS. 400 DPI, 86 FOV. 1920x1080 16:10 24 inch monitor. (Convert my Holo, Red Dot, Reflex not Acog or hipfire) I need this to be converted to CSGO on a 4:3 resolution (hipfire) so that when I aim in on Siege down a holosight, it matches the sensitivity of my csgo hipfire aim because my friends are saying that the conversion i've done for them is incorrect and i'm not sure how to do it all properly.
Wizard DPI Wizard Posted October 30, 2018 Wizard Posted October 30, 2018 Are both games stretched to fill out the screen, or do you have black bars in any of them?

Wizard DPI Wizard Posted October 30, 2018 Wizard Posted October 30, 2018 Ok, there's a few options that depends on your preference, but with MDH 0% it's like this:
aKH.DD Posted October 30, 2018 Author Posted October 30, 2018 Thank you, what does it mean if MDH is at 0%?
Wizard DPI Wizard Posted October 30, 2018 Wizard Posted October 30, 2018 6 minutes ago, aKH.DD said: Thank you, what does it mean if MDH is at 0%? It's the slowest matching method, meaning tracking a target is the same between scopes.

Wizard DPI Wizard Posted October 30, 2018 Wizard Posted October 30, 2018 1 minute ago, aKH.DD said: So if I turn it up to 100% the conversion would be incorrect? No, then movement to the edge of the monitor will be the same between the aims, but tracking will be different.

So the best option is at 0% because I did a conversion just then the same that you did but then when he used it in game on csgo, when he did a 360 in game, the amount he moved the mouse to do the 360 was completely different to siege when he aimed in and tried to do a 360. I know it sounds confusing but thats how he said the conversion was wrong... csgo felt so much faster to him compared to R6.
Wizard DPI Wizard Posted October 30, 2018 Wizard Posted October 30, 2018 360 distance is different from Monitor Distance, and is generally only used for hipfire to hipfire conversion. But since the aim in R6 has such wide FOV you can use it there as well if you prefer.

Because my mate can do a full 360 perfectly on siege but on csgo can do like 2 and 1/4 using the converted sens. Thats why he thinks its wrong

Or Windows Pointer Speed set to 6/11?
Wizard DPI Wizard Posted October 30, 2018 Wizard Posted October 30, 2018 CSGO with 2.212659 should be the exact same 360 distance as the R6 settings if that's what he wants to achieve. Also assuming the config file sensitivity in R6 are both the default value of 0.02 btw.
