therubberking Posted October 3, 2018 Posted October 3, 2018 So recently I've found a problem when trying to convert my sensitivity from CS:GO/Fortnite to OSU! When converting from CS:GO to OSU! i get a value of 0.8 sensitivity for OSU!, but when converting from Fortnite to OSU! I get a value of ~1.07. I use a 1.01 sensitivity in Counter Strike, which is the exact same thing as 0.04 in Fortnite according to the calculations I've done. Although these should be exactly the same, when converting them to OSU! my values differ completely. I've included screenshots below in case they're helpful in any way. https://gyazo.com/dbd841297175541d3bf60b7d6daa9b3f https://gyazo.com/98ca3d833ebdd0783372874c62e92f1a If anyone knows why this is happening and/or which sensitivity value to use for OSU! please let me know. Thank you in advance.
Wizard DPI Wizard Posted October 3, 2018 Wizard Posted October 3, 2018 You are matching CSGO to Fortnite using 360 distance, which is fine. But they have very different FOV's (106.26 vs 80), and this conversion is done regardless of FOV. But when you convert to osu the FOV is taken into account, so the end result is different.

Is there another method of conversion I could use that produces better results? Or should I just make a decision between the two values given?
