BecKz Posted September 27, 2018 Posted September 27, 2018 (edited) Hi, I came back to the calculator after the re-work and I noticed there's now "Conversion Setup", which I don't fully understand. How does it work? For example, I'm wanting to convert my CS:GO hipfire sensitivity of 1.10 at 800 DPI to Ballistic Overkill across all weapons at 50% MM. I'm using a 24" monitor. Any help is appreciated. Edited September 27, 2018 by ScaRy

BecKz Posted September 30, 2018 Author Posted September 30, 2018 So I shouldn't even bother with Vertical monitor distance?

Just copy that into the calculator and change the setting yourself if you wanna use Vertical. It's up to you which you use. I don't know which is technically the best.

At 50% horizontal it will match between your crosshair and the left/right hand edges of the screen, with 50% vertical it will match between your crosshair and the top/bottom edges of your screen. There is an equivalence between them (you will get the same sens values out) : 50%mm horizontal -> vertical (assuming 16:9 monitor) 50*(16/9) = 88.89% (2dp) 50%mm vertical -> horizontal (assuming 16:9 monitor) 50*(16/9) = 28.13% (2dp) If you want more info on what is better for converting sensitivities read this post here: https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/forum/topic/4704-conversion-method-guide-and-other-faqs/
