Am I correct to assume that using a 1:1 aspect ratio such provides the most uniform feel to sensitivity across the screen?

If you're not stretching the pixels it will feel "uniform" regardless of aspect ratio.

oh so if im playing 1:1 stretch on a 1080p monitor then it is the same distortion as playing at 16:9?

Here's a drawin with a wide variety of ratios >

If you have a 16:9 monitor, but like for some reason the 1:1 feel, you should play it in black bars. If you have  a 4:3 monitor, but wish to play in 21:9 then you should also do it with black bars, this time on top and bottom of the screen. The image will look cropped in all scenarios unless you play with your native aspect ratio. Don't stretch 1:1 on a "1080p" resolution, it can't feel the same as playing natively.

I see, stick with 16:9. 1:1 won't give you any advantage or supernatural feel of your cursor especially when played stretched.

Yeah was just experimenting. Also i want to MM at 0% my sens from 1080x1080 to 1920x1080. Should I match it at vertical or horizontal?

Edit: Nvmd horizontal it is. Matching at vertical is euuurghh

00% hor is the way to go, I was foolish enough to "experiment" with 100% & low sens don't make the same mistake

thats why i tried 1:1. to see if 100% mm would work. does nawwwt.

I know you were a great defender of 100% mm for a long time, but you switched to 0% now?

Not just that but the sensitivity as well. I went back to what I had almost 10 years ago.. I felt that I couldn't improve much with 100% hor mm @60+ cm per 360.

The only difference between horizontal and vertical is the ratio of the screen you measure from. one is from crosshair to the top of your screen, one to the horizontal edge. 0% is the same on both and will give you the exact same values.
