Glaeks Posted September 9, 2018 Posted September 9, 2018 (edited) Hello, I just subscribed and I'm not really getting this error. I was under the impression I'd put in my pubg settings and get the inputs needed for bfV, but it makes me fill in the sensitivity and just gives me an error? Isn't the point that the calculator tells me the sensitivity to enter? See screenshot for details. Thank you for your help. Edited September 9, 2018 by Glaeks
Glaeks Posted September 9, 2018 Author Posted September 9, 2018 Nevermind, I think I figured it out. BFV doesn't require this conversion, I just did pubg ads -> bfV hipfire due to uniform soldier aiming. I guess this should work...I'll find out soon enough.
Wizard DPI Wizard Posted September 9, 2018 Wizard Posted September 9, 2018 You must select the correct location, as in-game and config file uses different sensitivity. Also be sure to use the FOV from the config file, or switch FOV Type to Hdeg 4:3 if using the FOV from in-game as they are different as well. Lastly you must first convert your hipfire, and use the hipfire sensitivity as Sensitivity 1 for the scopes.
Glaeks Posted September 9, 2018 Author Posted September 9, 2018 (edited) Thank you. However, after trying to convert my hipfire -> hipfire I am noticing that it is off. I measured the actual mouse distance to see if it was accurate and got a real life 360 measurement of about 14.25 inches, whereas the calculator says 12.14. Why is there such a discrepancy? It's not uncommon that sensors are off by as much as 10%, so your true DPI is probably higher than 400. You can test your DPI here.
