Noll3n Posted August 23, 2018 Posted August 23, 2018 Hi I have recently tried to calculate my DPI and my 360 distance in CS go. When I plug it in to your calculator I get the result that it takes around 58 inches to rotate 360 degree, but when I measure it in game it is more like 29 inches. This is very frustrering, because I like double checking my sensitivity and now I get in doubt what my actual settings are. I don't know my DPI, so I used your calculator and it gave me 400 or something. My regular windows graffik is set to 1920x1080 and my ingame is 640x480. I have set my sensitivity to 0.7, but your calculator says it is 1.4. This is very wierd. I don't know what WPS is I have tried to google it, but no proper information or guide on how to set this correct is comming up, so I hope this wont make the difference.
Wizard DPI Wizard Posted August 23, 2018 Wizard Posted August 23, 2018 It sounds like your mouse is 800 DPI or you have changed the WPS. WPS is Windows Pointer Speed, the sensitivity setting in Windows.
Noll3n Posted August 23, 2018 Author Posted August 23, 2018 (edited) I've tried to measure my DPI again and it gave me something like 500. Also, I have set the WPS exacly as you've shown. Is it possible that my DPI changes when I open the game? or has it something to do with the changes in the resolution? Edited August 23, 2018 by Noll3n
Wizard DPI Wizard Posted August 23, 2018 Wizard Posted August 23, 2018 And is "Enhance pointer precision" off? And raw input on in CSGO? What mouse do you have btw?
