CSGO to RS6 sensitivity conversion, please help.

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

I am seriously confused, I am using 360 distance as I have no idea how to use viewspeed despite reading multiple guides, it makes no logical sense to me..

I am trying to convert my CSGO sens (2.4 and 800 dpi @ 1920x1080) to rainbow six so my hip fire and acog/red dot in RS6 are all exactly the same as my CSGO sens, how can I do this?

I currently have my RS6 sens at 9 both vertical and horizontal and 83 for ads (because with xfactor aiming at 1 I heard that makes both red dot and acog 1:1 with hipfire?)

Please help if you can!

Also, as an added note, how can I get my scoped weapons like the awp the same sens as my hip fire on CS?

@Phil0sophy I don't recommend you to use the same 360 distance for hipfire and 1x scope.  it might mess up your muscle memory because of hipfire and 1x scope have different fov

and another thing is using xfactor aiming at 1 doesn't make both red dot and acog 1:1 with hipfire. if you want the make all of them 1:1,you have wait for ubi to add another xfactor for acog only. BTW acog sens is actually too fast compare to hipfire and 1x scope by viewspeed/monitor distance.

in my case, I decided to not play acog in r6s anymore after I have been played csgo more often. and I use fov = 82 in r6s because after you ads on 1x scope the fov will reduced by 10% = 73.8 .73.8 is the closest to default hipfire's fov in csgo (73.74).

if you want to play r6s and have sens 1:1 for csgo 's hipfire and r6s 1x scope i recommend you try this setting

use horizontal and vertical sens = 2 , fov = 82, use toggle aim if you can and use the same aspect ratio in both games

using viewspeed or monitor distance to convert sens between 2 diffent fov is actually make sense tho. this clip will tell you why.  it is also why most csgo pro use zoom_sens = 1.00 which is 75% monitor distance.

the answer is you can not do that for awp and hipfire in cs

why?

for making awp and hipfire have the same 360 distance, it uses zoom_sensitivity_ratio_mouse higher than 2(MAX)

I actually use 2.6 at 800dpi in cs now, these are my current settings on both rainbow six and cs go, can you tell me what I need to do in order to make sure they are the same in both?

Rainbow six

DefaultFOV=73.739998

MouseSensitivity=50
MouseYawSensitivity=1
MousePitchSensitivity=1
MouseSensitivityMultiplierUnit=0.199666
XFactorAiming=1.000000

CSGO

Sensitivity 2.6

zoom_sensitivity_ratio_mouse 0.818933027098955175

I find that with the latter it makes it 1:1 when using AWP.

Is there anyway I can replicate this in Siege? Also what would you recommend having ACOG at? I honestly use ACOG most of the time but like you say, with that FOV it is far too high.

Since you matched the FOV's in CSGO and Rainbow Six Siege, you can convert your hipfire sensitivity from CSGO using 360 distance which you have done correctly. As for your scopes, you're using "0.818933027098955175" zoom sensitivity in CSGO which is identical to converting using monitor distance matched at 0%. However, because Siege doesn't have separate ADS sliders for iron sight and ACOG, you have to pick between the two for an accurate calculation.

So what would I use for ADS?

Assuming "AimDownSightsMouse" is set to 50:

Iron Sight: Set "XFactorAiming" to 0.029065

ACOG: Set "XfactorAiming" to  0.017456

So will those two values be the same speed as when I am using the AWP on zoom for cs?  Is it possible to have my hipfire sens the same as CS and have my ADS/Acog the same as CS when using the AWP?

Also, I make the pitch the same as my yaw in siege right?

I'm not sure if i follow. You've already matched your hip fire sensitivity in CSGO to Rainbow Six Siege according to your current settings, now all you have to do is set one of the "Xfactoraiming" values in your config for your preferred scope.

Ahhh right, got ya, if you don't mind me asking, how did you figure that out on the calculator? (For future ref)

I inputted your settings that you gave a few posts above and converted using monitor distance matched at 0%.
