Wizard DPI Wizard Posted July 11, 2018 Wizard Posted July 11, 2018 Beta added! Use the config file calculation for best accuracy and independent calculation of X and Y axis. RexVoluntas 1
VolliPolli Posted July 18, 2018 Posted July 18, 2018 The calculation is wrong for me. Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege - Hipfire Sensitivity 1: MouseYawSensitivity=2 Multiplier 1: MouseSensitivityMultiplierUnit=0.011499 360° distance: 3.4151 inches Config FOV: Field of View: 90 Actual VFOV: 90 degrees Actual HFOV: 121.28 degrees Fear The Wolves - Hipfire X Sensitivity 1: AxisConfig=(AxisKeyName="MouseX",AxisProperties=(DeadZone=0.000000,Sensitivity=0.027907,Exponent=1.000000,bInvert=False)) 360° distance: 3.415 inches Discrepancy: -0.0029% (-0.0001 inches) Config FOV: Field of View 80 Actual VFOV: 50.53 degrees Actual HFOV: 80 degrees

Your settings use vastly different FOV's in the two games (121 vs 80), so they will definitely feel different with the same 360 distance.
VolliPolli Posted July 19, 2018 Posted July 19, 2018 Yes, the 360 distance. Even though it could feel different, it should still be the same mouse distance for a 360 ingame and it isn't.
Wizard DPI Wizard Posted July 19, 2018 Author Wizard Posted July 19, 2018 What distance do you get in Fear the Wolves with those settings?
RexVoluntas Posted August 17, 2018 Posted August 17, 2018 (edited) Could you take another look at this at some point? In the latest update they have added sensitivity sliders for different scopes and a FOV slider. Cheers. Edit: There also seems to be the option to change the sensitivity in both the inpuit.ini and GameUserSettings.ini, which is odd. Edited August 17, 2018 by RexVoluntas
Wizard DPI Wizard Posted August 17, 2018 Author Wizard Posted August 17, 2018 Seems to be bugged at the moment, changing sensitivity does nothing. RexVoluntas 1
