ethanf13231 Posted July 6, 2018 Posted July 6, 2018 I'm confused on what settings to use. I need to convert my Fortnite sensitivity to Overwatch. My Fortnite sens is .13 on both X AND Y and Scoped in/ADS are both .35. I would like to convert my horizontal, vertical and sniper scope in on Fortnite to Widowmaker's on overwatch. Help is much appreciated
Wizard DPI Wizard Posted July 6, 2018 Wizard Posted July 6, 2018 First of all you need to figure out what conversion method feels more natural for you for the hipfire sensitivity. Since these games have both different FOV and perspective it can be hard to match them. For Overwatch try these three and see which one feels best: 360 distance: 10.94 100% monitor distance: 14.09 0% monitor distance 16.39 ethanf13231 and popnik90 2
ethanf13231 Posted July 7, 2018 Author Posted July 7, 2018 Thanks for replying, the 360 distance does feel more natural to me. Still kind of meh on the sniper scope in, none of them feel natural.

ethanf13231 Posted July 8, 2018 Author Posted July 8, 2018 Thank you so much! This actually feels natural to me. Can you share what you did to find that sensitivity?

Can you share what you did to find that sensitivity? First do the hipfire conversion where you preferred 360 distance like this: Then convert from Scope Assault Rifle to Widowmaker, since these have the closest FOV: Since you have hipfire and scope sensitivity very different you can't use a method directly from hipfire to scope, but doing it this way works as well. I used Monitor Distance 0% since this is the slowest match and your ADS is a lot slower than hipfire.
