I swear the sensitivity changed since last time I checked today Yes! See here: https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/forum/topic/4853-improved-monitor-distance-integration/ This update uses the conversion setup to calculate the monitor distance coefficient in games that supports it. So if you used the default coefficient previously, it will now be replaced with a value corresponding to your setup, thus changing the calculated sensitivity. The end result for the calculation should be equal though (as long as you change all the sensitivity values in the game according to the output), the only effect is that scopes scale the same. ajaxxo 1
NBA Posted November 16, 2018 Posted November 16, 2018 Is there a way to have all zoom levels be the same distance for 360 as hipfire? The following does not make it the same, higher zoom is much longer distance to 360, and when I calculate without the Uniform Soldier Aiming On it says it is out of range. I am not sure how to utilize the calculator or if it is even possible to have all other zoom level be the same distance for 360 as hipfire sensitivity. Any help would be welcome and appreciated. NBA Posted November 17, 2018 Posted November 17, 2018 My overall sensitivity is very low, 45 cm for 360, so it would not be too sensitive but that is besides the point. Is it possible and if so where am I going wrong in not being able to calculate the right values for the different zooms?
stereo3D Posted November 17, 2018 Posted November 17, 2018 (edited) you simply set everything to 360 distance in the conversion setup. with ADS FOV On: Sensitivity 1: GstInput.MouseSensitivity 0.006083 Sensitivity 2: GstInput.UniformSoldierAimingCoefficient 3 Multiplier 1: GstInput.SoldierZoomSensitivityAll 2 Multiplier 2: GstInput.SoldierZoomSensitivity1x00 0.500000 GstInput.SoldierZoomSensitivity1x25 0.541679 GstInput.SoldierZoomSensitivity1x50 0.585798 GstInput.SoldierZoomSensitivity2x00 0.681519 GstInput.SoldierZoomSensitivity2x50 0.785655 GstInput.SoldierZoomSensitivity3x00 0.893347 GstInput.SoldierZoomSensitivity3x50 1.007342 GstInput.SoldierZoomSensitivity4x00 1.123886 GstInput.SoldierZoomSensitivity5x00 1.357973 GstInput.SoldierZoomSensitivity6x00 1.604340Calculated sensitivity too high for 8.00X Zoom Sensitivity: 2.094654 (max is 1)Calculated sensitivity too high for 10.00X Zoom Sensitivity: 2.600158 (max is 1) 360° distance: 44.9994 cm Config FOV: GstRender.FieldOfViewVertical 74 Actual VFOV: 74 degrees Actual HFOV: 106.52 degrees Edited November 17, 2018 by stereo3D

Meeno87 Posted November 17, 2018 Posted November 17, 2018 Hey guys, i´m a little bit confused now. For BF4 the best way to deal with UsA was to set the coefficient to 1.33. I skiped BF1 and now is read a lot that 1.33 isn´t longer the best value. My vertical FOV is 73.74 and my ratio is 16:9 - what coefficient should I usw now? 0%? 133%? 178%? Thanks!

This is the fastest match you can make, and necessary if you want everything to be the same 360. As you can see 8X and 10X are out of range, but you can try the calculated values and see if they work. This will extremely fast for scopes, especially the higher ones. But if that's your preference by all means go for it
Forturama Posted November 18, 2018 Posted November 18, 2018 Hi guys, I have one question regarding FOV. In the calculator, I chose "Hdeg 16:9" = 90 because I want a horizontal FOV. According to the calculator, I have to use "GstRender.FieldOfViewVertical 58.72" in in the config file in order to get a HFOV of 90. But when I set this value to 58.72, the game tells me in the ingame options that i have HVOF of 74. Do you guys have any idea what I'm doing wrong? Sorry, I'm pretty new to this site and have to learn a lot
stereo3D Posted November 18, 2018 Posted November 18, 2018 in-game slider is based on 4:3. Forturama 1
Forturama Posted November 18, 2018 Posted November 18, 2018 Thank you for your help but I still don't get which value I have to set in the config file in order to get my FOV to 90. I tried to set the value in game. According to the ingame menu, I have to use a value of 74 in order to get a horizontal FOV of 90. Do you know whether this is true? Thank you
stereo3D Posted November 19, 2018 Posted November 19, 2018 like i said, it shows you the FOV you would get on a 4:3 monitor. on a widescreen monitor it will be wider than that. if it still confuses you, then ignore the in-game slider - only the config matters. personally, i wouldn't use such a low FOV of 90 at 16:9. you're basically running around with blinders, while other players will see more and have better awareness.
RepsakXD Posted November 20, 2018 Posted November 20, 2018 I would say this is mostly a preference, you get benefits/negatives with both high/vs low( but 90-100 to me is more like a middle FoV) You see more with high FoV, but targets will generally be a lot smaller. To me 90 FoV is a good balanced FoV.
RepsakXD Posted November 20, 2018 Posted November 20, 2018 (edited) Em someone just delete/disregard this post. Edited November 20, 2018 by RepsakXD

Yes, all except probably plane will be added. It's a bit difficult to analyze them on live servers atm, hopefully the upcoming training mode have everything in it.
Carlos Resurreccion Posted November 21, 2018 Posted November 21, 2018 @DPIWizard what do I put for these? GstInput.SoldierZoomSensitivity1 GstInput.SoldierZoomSensitivity2 GstInput.SoldierZoomSensitivity3 GstInput.SoldierZoomSensitivity4 The calculator doesn't give values for them, only the ones with x like 1x00, etc. Do I just leave these at 1?

iBerggman Posted December 1, 2018 Posted December 1, 2018 (edited) Has anyone found any other way to launch the game with older drivers other than renaming nvapi64.dll and renaming it back again after the games launched? It's a bit of a hassle to do that every launch and I'd really prefer not to update my drivers because in PUBG especially there's a huge difference between the 4XX.XX and 388.71 drivers, I have a 1080 Ti and my friend has a 1080 paired with 6600K's at 4.5Ghz @ 16Gbs of RAM and we both agreed the difference in stuttering and overall smoothness was like night and day when we reverted to the older one. Yeah, I always do a DDU clean install for every driver update but I think this is more of a problem with PUBG or maybe even UE more than anything else. Battlefield actually ran perfectly fine with the latest driver but I play a lot more PUBG so that's why I'd prefer to stay on the older one. I will probably try a windows reinstall soon so I suppose that could help. It's not really a big deal anyway since I only play through Origin Basic Access at this point but I figured I'd ask and see if there was any other workaround.
tjorb Posted December 3, 2018 Posted December 3, 2018 Can you set decimal FoV values for BFV? Overwatch has a horizontal FoV of 103, to match that I would need to set the vertical value to 70.53. On another note I now see that the 103 FoV in Overwatch is equal to 97.06 on my 16:10 monitor. It has showed as 103 before so I guess all my conversions from Overwatch are wrong.

Overwatch was updated a few weeks ago to correctly scale FOV below 16:9. tjorb 1
