davbar82 Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 I called for a 12in 360 but it's not producing the correct value, or not at 800 dpi at least. I think the numbers need tweeking. Cheers in advance
Wizard DPI Wizard Posted June 27, 2016 Wizard Posted June 27, 2016 Thanks for the heads up, I've updated it now. They have finally fixed acceleration Make sure to enter your configured FOV as you see it in-game, as it affect sensitivity.
davbar82 Posted June 28, 2016 Author Posted June 28, 2016 Still doesn't seem right to me, I'll get you some numbers later but I'm still coming up short using the calculator here. Will post with some numbers later... Regards
davbar82 Posted July 9, 2016 Author Posted July 9, 2016 Hello again sorry for not getting back to you on this. For me the Calc isn't working out the way I expected. DayZ Standalone, default FOV (57.****) I wanted a 18" 360 @ 400dpi. Using the calc it comes out at "0.35305556;" but it just didn't feel right to me. After using a tape measure (i know it's not wonderfully accurate) I was quite some way from 18" for a 360. Again using the tape measure so take this number with some human error I make it closer to 0.38? Could you take another look at the calc or maybe I'm doing something wrong? Every other game I've used your calc for seems perfect though. Cheers and keep up the great work!
Wizard DPI Wizard Posted July 9, 2016 Wizard Posted July 9, 2016 Strange, it is right on the money here. Could you try to move your config file to another folder for backup, and the start the game so a new config file is created, then exit the game and don't change anything except the mouse sensitivity in the file. See if that makes a difference, maybe there's some setting I'm missing that affects the sensitivity.
davbar82 Posted July 10, 2016 Author Posted July 10, 2016 hmm that's odd. I'm using a fresh .cfg but it's still not right at 0.35 for me, I have to put it closer to 0.38 to get a 18" 360. Tried it with 2 mice also namely the G402 and FK2. Both the same.

davbar82 Posted July 10, 2016 Author Posted July 10, 2016 Hello again Your real DPI: 405 Deviation: +1.13% with the G402, haven't done the FK2 tho, hope this helps Regards
davbar82 Posted July 10, 2016 Author Posted July 10, 2016 Does 3P or 1P make any difference? I mostly play 3P.
Wizard DPI Wizard Posted July 10, 2016 Wizard Posted July 10, 2016 Does 3P or 1P make any difference? I mostly play 3P. It shouldn't I think, but try 1st person as well. Hello again Your real DPI: 405 Deviation: +1.13% with the G402, haven't done the FK2 tho, hope this helps Regards I was "hoping" for a much worse result, so no that doesn't really help much If you try converting from DayZ to another game you have that is on the calculator, do you get the same distance there too?
davbar82 Posted July 13, 2016 Author Posted July 13, 2016 Yes afraid so, when I use H1Z1 for example @ 400dpi a sensitivity is 0.146289 produces a 18" 360, using that and converting it to DayZ SA it comes out at 0.35305556. Which is the same value as if I did a distance calculation. But 0.35305556 does not produce a 18" 360 @ 400dpi in DayZ SA Measuring manually it comes out more like 0.38 ish. I actually don't think DayZ's mouse irregularities are behind them either to be honest so it can probably just be put down to that as well. I will double check all the above just to be certain.
